We have dusted off the very first In The Red logo we ever had and put it on a swank new t-shirt. Designed by Chris "COOP" Cooper back in 1991 before we'd ever released a record and before Chris became famous for launching a thousand devil girls, checkered flags and hot rodding monsters. It was only used on the first five singles ITR released. Print is black and red on a white t-shirt.

Lance Barresi and Liz Tooley are the co-founders of Permanent Records, which means they're responsible for releasing and reissuing a whole mess of awesome music. (They also run some excellent record stores in L.A. and Chicago.) Now, they've rechristened themselves Lance and Liz Bummer, and together with Greg Bummer (of the Spits and MERX), they're the punk trio Endless Bummer. With their debut record, they churn out dark-hued rock'n'roll with frayed edges and plenty of intimidation. Their Ripper Current EP was recorded by Ty Segall —the first material made in his new backyard studio the Sweat Lodge—and it's an awesome slab of sludgy punk. The band's eerie and chilling aspects are still in tact and their song writing has never been better. The Traditional Fools were a garage-punk-thrash-surf trio consisting of Ty, Andrew Luttrell and David Fox. They recorded and released their lone album back in 2008 – it sold out quickly and has never been re-pressed until now. Recorded live in the studio, Traditional Fools is low on fidelity and high in energy. The band’s sound is a perfect combination of 60’s garage, vintage surf reverb and early LA punk performed with trashy reckless abandon.

Ten new tracks from John Dwyer and company that go everywhere from crazy psych-pop, heavy garage rock jams, baroque ballads and Velvety moods. Vinyl comes in an awesome die cut jacket. The second full length by Los Angeles's Wounded Lion not only dodges the "sophomore slump", it pummels its older sibling into the ground. While the Lion's debut was no slouch by anyone's (except for someone so utterly clueless they take their musical cues from Pitchfork) gauge, IVXLCDM is leaner, harder and tougher than its predecessor without sacrificing any of the smarts and nuance of their debut. The Lamps and Haunted George (and Cheap Time) are heading up the west coast this summer and we made this limited edition 7" to commemorate the event. Haunted George does a totally demented six minute version of the Lamps' "Ron Campbell". The Lamps do a pulverizing version of George's "I'm Gonna Lynch You". Limited edition of 400 available only here or at the band's shows.

This time they employ the bass and guitar skills of Jimmy Hole (Necessary Evils, LP/CD cover artist and designer of this very website) and Mike McHugh (knob turner at the ultra cool Distillery studio) and dust off a pile of weirdo covers that they suitably screw up. Tracks from The Contortions, Rolling Stones and even Groove Armada are dragged through the mud here with amazing results.
